About Savaneta Seafood Festival
The Savaneta Seafood Festival is a celebration of Aruba’s connection to the sea, the traditions of Savaneta and the flavors that bring our community together. Set in one of the island’s most authentic coastal districts, the festival brings local seafood, Aruban cuisine, culture and live entertainment together in one vibrant experience. More than a food festival, it is a tribute to the people, heritage and community spirit that have shaped Savaneta for generations.

Fundacion Savaneta Prome Capital proudly presents the second annual Savaneta Seafood Festival on September 27th 2026. As the oldest fishermen town in Aruba we would like to preserve our cultural heritage and promote the identity of our district Savaneta internationally. This event is an authentic Aruban product to be held at Savaneta by the sea where the streets will be closed to make space for a variety of seafood, local beer, arts and
crafts. A perfect match for tourists to engage with locals and as volunteers, tourists can participate to help this event become a huge success. This festival includes local seafood vendors and some local seafood restaurants.
What makes this event unique is the fishing tournament by locals and tourist fishermen taking place during the day. The catches of the day will be prepared on the grill by the staff of The Aruba Wine And Dine and offered to visitors from the ocean to the plate. ‘Di Lama pa Tayo’.
Savaneta Seafood Festival will have local entertainment from Savaneta such as Tipico, Mariachi, local artist and Savaneta Brassband.
The goal is for the Savaneta Seafood Festival to become an international festival. It is to put Savaneta on the world map as the oldest fishermen town of Aruba and also the first capital of Aruba in the years 1636 - 1797.
